This show is the best YA fantasy series I've seen in a long while. It does a great job finding a strong balance between world/lore building, character exploration and plot progression. Our protagonists very well written, each has their own personal arcs on top of their shared arc as a unit and are shown to great potential for growth on both fronts. The romance between Raelle and Scylla is handled very well and doesn't feel rushed despite how quickly the relationship starts. Both actresses have great chemistry together and make the love between their characters feel natural. Really solid start, can't wait to see more!

Really amazing show! I highly recommend it, even to those who aren't big anime fans. The animation is leagues beyond anything I ever imagined Rooster Teeth could pull off. The characters feel very three dimensional in terms of personalities and outlooks, and the cast really bring out those traits really well. Only negative I have is that the animation may make it hard for people who struggle with vertigo/motion sickness to really enjoy it, especially during the action segments. Solid 9/10 for me!
