I never saw the original film. I wasn't previously a fan of this Franchise, but now I am all in. This Netflix series is BEAUTIFUL. Gorgeous, Endearing, Creepy, Sinister, Warm, Inspiring, Funny, Sad, and a visual marvel to behold. I love the Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance! I cannot wait for season 2! This show draws out every emotion I love to feel in a cinematic experience! The seemless blending of Physical Puppetry, Practical Sets & Effects with CGI is so masterfully done, It takes you into the ENCHANTING world of THRA in a way you have never before felt with any other story. I WANT MORE. Watch this show.
