This film is not a horror film. It should be in the comedy section. The very bad comedy section. It had no redeeming qualities. The bare bones of the plot-line has potential. However, the script, the acting and the actual finished plot are ridiculous. I cannot believe that I actually made it to the end of this film. It was merely the fact that my co-watcher was in hysterics at the total absurdness of the fleshed out part of the plot that I found the will to keep watching. Chronic.

Great adaptation of the book. My one criticism is the bizarre camera work where many scenes, for no apparent reason, are filmed at odd angles. It is as if they were filming on a ship in a force 10 gale. I kept waiting for the furniture to slide across the floors. I hope this is not some ridiculous developing trend. Very unpleasant on the eye and serves no purpose. Hence 4/5.
