I absolutely LOVED this book!!! Some parts made me laugh, while others made me want to cry. The way this book was written was so organized and detailed, I appreciated all of the context about the past relationship between Lily and Atlas. Reading this book made me think of a similar situation I experienced with someone where it was the right person wrong time. Lily was everything I expected her to be. Strong, yet empathetic and compassionate. There were many parts in this book where she could have rightfully been a cruel person, but she wasn't, and to me that shows true character especially when someone has continuously hurt you. I'm not even sure how I feel about starting to read It Starts With Us because everything that I needed to feel was felt reading It Ends With Us. I am more than ecstatic to watch the It Ends With Us film when it is released in February. It's always so interesting to compare my images of the book characters and scenes in my head to what they come out as in reality. I think no matter whether you read the book first, or wait for the movie to come out before reading the book, you should go in with an open mind about this book, especially because of the contents within it. I absolutely loved reading this book, and I can't wait to read more from Miss Colleen !!!!!!!!
