#Vadakkupatti Ramasamy | Starring Santhanam | Directed by Kathik Yogi | Storyline: The hero when he was young, at some point strongly believes that he could use the superstitious beliefs of the villagers and make money. Did he succeed in his attempts? This is a Rural based, Period Comedy Fantasy/Drama. In which we shouldn't be looking at logics. I watched this movie after seeing mixed reviews of youtubers, maybe bcoz of that the comedy was on and off for me. But still, it would have worked better for me, If I have watched without any expectations. However, in many places I could see that the audience enjoying and laughing out loud. For me it's a must one time theatre watch with huge crowd. Because at times, seeing other persons laughter makes us laugh by default. Amongst the action, thriller, physco movies, these kind of Full fledged comedy movies are must needed one 🙏

#Captain Miller | Starring Dhanush, Priyanka Mohan, Sundeep Kishan, Shiva Rajkumar, John Kokken | Directed by Arun Matheswaran | Storyline: A period movie based out of a rural backdrop, in which the villagers are not allowed to enter a temple which is built by their own ancestors. The only good thing in this movie is Dhanush and his extraordinary acting skills, he is trying to shoulder the entire movie by himself without any additional support. As a period film, it has to be strong enough in its making & firstly the area has to be strongly established. But this had one and only temple and had around 10-15 huts right in front of the temple. Also more than 70% of movie is shot in front of the temple, which makes the screenplay very boring. Sluggish screenplay doesn't make me connect with the movie or its need. It seems the director forgot to write screenplay and end up shooting only shootouts and pasted it everywhere. Even after this, if you still wish to watch this movie please have ear plugs and saridon 🙏

#Ayalaan | Starring Sivakarthikeyan | Directed by R Ravikumar | Firstly Kudos!!! to the team for picking up a Unique Genre and sticking to it for around 7 years by overcoming the challenges. - This Alien Genre attracts us, especially kids. Also the Intention of the story is appreciatable. - Good selection of Cast, I was able to enjoy and laugh for few comedies. - First half of the movie makes me feel that this is the Clear Pongal Winner. However the second half is not up to the mark, has no logic which makes the screenplay draggy and makes me impatient towards the climax. - AR Rahman's Music & BGM is good, but certainly not at his best. - VFX Team has done a great job. Though it had minor flaws, the overall outcome is decent. Overall an average watch, for those who want to watch a commercial movie at theatres. But please be mindful about the second half and climax fight.

#Kaathal - The Core, directed by Joe Baby, starring Mammootty & Jyothika. This story plot talks about the hindrances and views of society on same gender sex. Pros: - The storyline is crisp and pretty straight forward, from which the team tried to convey a strong social message. - Although Mammootty being a Super Hero in Malayalam, he very well underplayed his role for the asks of the story. - This play doesn't have any stand alone song, fight, romance, mass entry, as the story didn't demand any of these. Cons: - At some sequences I could notice that there is definitely a room for improvement or perfection for the crowd, background artists, live sounds & visuals etc... - The screenplay makes me feel draggy at some areas, however I understand that this story needs its own breathing time. Key take away is that all other Language Heros must realise and start picking up movies which has a strong story line rather than fame, fight, songs, mass entry, romance, love scenes etc... also audience have to support best cinema and not go behind Heros/Heroines/Directors/Fame 🙏

#12th Fail an inspirational movie which is based on true events, directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, starring Vikrant Massey. This movie starts in a Remote Rural Village, where the ambitious hero decides to become an IPS officer due to various reasons & relocates to Delhi. Though the story is predictable, the writting and the screenplay plays a vital role to make us sit tight throughout and the key success of the movie is that the team presented the movie with utmost reality wherein we could relate to it. This move is exclusively for each & everyone who is preparing for competitive exams. ✌️ If Manoj Kumar Sharma can, definitely you can ✌️

A Heavy hearted review #Koose Munisamy Veerappan, docu-series which is available in Zee5. Turned out to be bold, impactful & brilliant which voices out Veerappan's life story in his perspective 👏👏👏 This series gave me a huge impact, even made me shed tears. As other Web series it is indeed a bit draggy, however the narration and editing made this a gripping seat edge thriller. Credits to Nakkeeran Gopal for voicing out the facts, which could help the innocent victims to serve their justice ⚖️ A must watch, if you are fond of movies based on true events. Please be mindful, this is only for 18+ audience 🙏
