It's fine. I'm not very familiar with Resident Evil outside of VII and Village, but it doesn't seem like there's much of a reason to make this show a Resident Evil series outside of ONE zombie attack and ONE character turning into a big monster (not a spoiler if you know Resident Evil). The characters are pretty well done, save for some bits of stoner philosophy on the nature of terror that one character tries to make sound like the most profound thing ever ( the poor voice actor is trying so hard). The animation is stellar. The action is very well choreographed and fun. However the story is just mediocre and the whole isn't as strong as the sum of its parts. It's just fine.
