A very biased view of the sled dog community. At one point it tells viewers about "slaughtering up to 100 dogs", when in fact it was only 56 dogs. And while this was a horrible act, the end result was more humane than letting the dogs starve. Furthermore, let's not forget that the central theme of this movie, the Iditarod race, takes great care to ensure the health of the dogs along the trail.
