Unless Anne Rice has totally lost her mind, I would think she is horrified by this atrocious butchering of her series. While I perfectly understand that translating books to the screen can rarely be as "true to the page" as Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings, the screenwriters, director and producers of this travesty should be ashamed!
