Firstly I was Very excited when this film was announced under yashraj banner and amitabh bachchan, amir khan playing lead roles. It could have been better if they stick to originality. I have read confession of a thug and it's truly a masterpiece. In this film they tried to blend the whole scenario with pirates of the Carribbean which is a total disaster. Amir playing Jack sparrow and amitabh bachchan playing barbossa. If they have tried to convey the original thuggy cult which is purely Indian by this film then it would be more powerful movie. I think this whole project should have done by Sanjay Leena bhansali because only this man can have this capacity to actually project history in today's cinema. I mean we have seen the pirates movie since very long. It was a chance to show the original thuggy cult to the world through Bollywood cinema.

Great combination of neo Noir and current filming style. Most unique thing i notice is Sanskrit names of all chapters. Anurag kashyap is among the few capable directors in India who can drag out finest acting from actors. Its good to see an Indian web series in such huge platform like #Netflix.
