Kong Vu

I never played part 2 till now all because of the resurgence from the mini series on HBO. My daughter and I watched the first episode and she asked about the game. We broke out the old PS3 and original game. She couldn't put it down and finished playing the game in between 3 days of time. She was so interested we had to buy a PS4 and TLOU 2. Well what a conflicting game? It was all good till they shocked us with Joel's death! Heart breaking and my daughter cried out loud! We had to pause the game for a while. We thought ok let's see where this takes us. Nope! It did not get better! Why did Naughty Dog make these storyline? Killing off Joel is like Killing off Nathan Drake in his series. Showing Joel's death once was enough but come on...how many times did you have to show Joel's shocking beaten and bloody head. Plus the whole time jump back and forth was very annoying. Too much of it! Maybe once or twice but this was way too much! Ellie had to journey 2 missions to kill Abby and still ended up not doing it? 😑 Ellie's reason for not forgiving Joel did not make sense and contradicted her drive for revenge. The whole moral dilemma from game 1 was being told to us that it was the wrong decision...but part 2 totally touched on it too like asking what would you do if it was your daughter or Joel would do it all again if he had to. I don't think the developers were on the same page on this. Plus playing as Abby made me hate her more! I see they were trying to get us to be in Abby shoes and see her perspective but nope that didn't work. Overall the graphics were awesome and we loved the addition of play like dodging and crawling. As far as the story (which is such a big part of why the first one was so perfect) this part 2 story ruined it. It definitely did not hit home like the original. We won't be playing it through multiple times either. We won't be interested in a 3rd installment especially if Abby is in it again.

Just watched it this weekend. Man IDK what to say. There were little bits in there that had so much potential (like Thor asking his hammer to look after Jane...weird still but potentially good plot, Jane choosing to help save the Universe instead of her health, Thor's decision to spend his last moments with Jane instead of dealing with the God Butcher. Any of these plots would have been great to expand and explore. Instead the whole movie felt like a huge joke. It didn't seem like there was any real threat or consequences or consequences of actions. Those that died didn't even seem to matter! You have all great actors and this is how you choose to use them? I can't say it was the worst Marvel movie but if definitely was not a good one. Hence 2 star is my vote.

I was excited to see this series but after watching it to through the 4th episode I'm not so sure excited anymore. Obi seems off and I can't put my finger on it. I am left frustrated and questioning his actions through every episode. He the same actors but doesn't act the same. His fighting skills fluctuate all over the place and he definitely doesn't have hope for the future. I am just left with an emotion of meh. *** Ok episode 5 is pretty good. Just don't pay attention to Reva's journey. Why the heck would you choose to live your life as the enemy to try to get to Vader is silly but atleast this was a much improved episode. Obi-Wan is coming back to form and looks like a total different character from previous. You earned one star more from me. Don't mess up the finale! *** WTH happened? I had hope for the season ender to be awesome. This was the story they wanted to tell? Why was Reva even trying to kill Luke in the first place? Now she is redeemed? No she is evil! She did so much evil and now we are supposed to cheer for her? Then Obi-Wan defeats Vader and repears the same mistake of leaving Vader alive? This story is incoherent. It does not fill in the time but leaves way too many more questions. And what is the purpose of Reva anyway? I thought it was going to give her a story that directly collides with Obi and finish it. It would have been better if she died trying to kill Vader then! Finally Obi doesn't even save the Princess. She finds her own way home? What the S#!t? Why even write her into the story? Ugh so unsatisfied watching this series. Not going to support it again. I took one star away again! It deserves no stars or even negative stars! Boooo!

Wow! What a fun film! Loved it!

Did not enjoy this movie. I'm not sure what this movie was trying to be. It definitely was portraying our current society issues if that's what it was trying to do then bravo. For a movie werewolf movie it sucked.
