I absolutely love Breath of the wild. Id never had enough money to buy my own console since I was a child to an adult, but then my best friend bought me a Nintendo Switch as a gift for Christmas. Thanks to her for getting me into video games, but anyways, Breath of the Wild was one of the first games I'd ever played, and it blew my mind. As an inexperienced gamer, it was surprisingly easy to learn the game mechanics and though the combat was hard I learned to grow with it, and for an honorable mention, the graphics of it to this day are still in my list of top five. The story progression is amazing, the photo mechanics as well as the character development. Now I won't put any spoilers in for those who don't know much about it, but I just have to express how absolutely breathtaking the whole experience of it is. I'll never forget the night where I beat the game. I was up till midnight playing it, even though I should've been studying for my exams, and that last hit to calamity canon will forever be ingraved in my mind. I'd been playing for 3 years and I'd finally beat it. Literal tears came out, I cried so hard that I woke my roommate up and she took a video of the scene unfolding. It was the milestone of sorts of my personal life. Games had held me together from the moment I'd discovered them to this day, and beating Breath of the Wild is something I won't forget. Those feelings I felt with it, those are real. This game is so incredible and lovable, and throughout my play through, I was living and growing with these characters and the land of hyrule. Thank you Nintendo for bringing this masterpiece to us ❤️ Also, just a point I wanted to make, is that a lot of people say it's just alike to it's successor, Tears of the Kingdom. That's hardly the truth. To anyone who hasn't played either one of these games, it will make you so happy to do so. I remember, after I finished BOTW, that as soon as the Tears of the Kingdom teaser trailer came out, I was all over it. It was constantly on my mind, and in my spare time, a friend and I were constantly writing notes on theories for this game, and I still have that notebook to this day, and those memories that Zelda gave me are priceless. If you have played Tears of the kingdom, and are interested in Breath of the Wild, the only thing I can say is do it. The thing I loved about these two games is that I get to watch the advancement of hyrule and it's people's. I got to watch the kids grow up and new civilizations be built. Heck, I even built a civilization in botw!! But anyways, going backwards from totk is still amazing, it's as if you're going back in time to see what life was like long ago. And the same for going forwards from Botw, so much has changed. To those who haven't played either before, start from Botw and once you finish go to Totk. I promise you that you won't regret it

🎮🎮GET THIS GAME NOW 🎮🎮 And just to establish, no I'm not an overbearing Zelda fan, there are some games I can't get into no matter how hard I try. But this game, this is a masterpiece. You won't believe how loud I laughed when I scrolled through the one star reviews. What these comments are made of, is the lack of eye hand coordination. I have a sister like that. She writes awful reviews on games that she gets because she keeps forgetting how bad she is at action games. So now that I established what these bad reviews are made of, I'll talk about the actual game itself, the wonder it is. I absolutely love this game. Its my comfort game of sorts. Now I know people never shut up about how it's just a dlc of Botw, but that's just a bunch of bologna. Sure, it shares a third of the same map and almost all the same NPC's, but there are so many more added. And don't forget the character development. I can't and will never be able to describe the happiness it brings me with games that have direct successors, to go to spots I'd seen in previous games and see exactly how it's changed and the way time changes all. 5 year olds turn to tweens, and it's as if you get to watch them grow, their live being shaped before your eyes. And the story I very well thought out. And don't forget hot ganondorf. If you haven't seen a photo of him, look it up. Hes the best villain I've seen for a long time. And the mechanics of the fabulous arm link has are great. The fighting techniques, the weapon assortment, the meal intricacy, the explorable world, above and under it, will never cease to amaze me. Such is the amazement of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

To start from the main point, this game is spot on, and I couldn't be happier with it. The outfits and customability, the various spells, the side quests with lovable characters, learning those character's backstories in an interactive way, and fun puzzles. Not even to mention the absolutely breathtaking graphics. Granted, I travel a lot and have it on my Nintendo Switch OLED, which does indeed take it down a notch in the graphic part of things, I barely even notice. The gameplay is greatly the same, with most of it being rendered to the switch's screen. To those wanting it on Xbox, my friend has it on there, and the graphics are amazing as well, better even. Moving on from graphics, the ability to not be confined to a different story if you choose a certain house is a gamechanger. I've played countless games where a single decision at the beginning changes its whole course, and I get so irritated when I have to start a new game save to play a different way. So this was great for me. Also, for anyone wondering, It indeed does not require internet on the switch, as I spend most of my time on the road or in the skies with no access to internet/wifi. This was also very convenient. However a stationary device does have to have it. All in all, to sum it up, the gameplay was great, the animals were adorable, the story had me intrigued, and I will never forget laughing and crying with the characters I played with in Hogwarts Legacy.
