I was disappointed in the first episode, but I liked the 2nd episode very much. It was more thoughtful and serious while maintaining a mystical quality. The deep descent into a man's unconscious to unlock a suppressed memory was very imaginative and at times funny with great special effects. The two male leads are very likable, almost endearing, and a more mature Hwang Jung Eum is a revelation. The idea that Wol Ju has to serve the human race while hating it is so provocative. There is much promise here.

This is just a wonderful drama! It evokes emotions of the tenderest kind and feelings profound. Each episode leaves you in a quiet place where you can't help but linger, sometimes with a sigh, sometimes with a tear. Ji Jin-Hee has become such a sturdy, strong, reassuring presence in Kdramas. I can't praise him enough. All of the actors are deserving of the greatest praise. There just has to be a second season. The story is told in such a straight line, without the usual extraneous nonsense the haunts Kdramas, that you are left wanting more...demanding more.
