Wow! Shockingly good! I owned this game for months and never even knew it. I just kept slugging it out with Connor (AC3) bored to death, figuring that lady pictured on the title page was either the opportunity to play Connor as a female or a brief add-on DLC like Adewale in Freedom Cry was to Black Flag. I'm so thrilled I got bored enough to check Aveline out. She has an incredible narrative and guess what? Representation matters. I was thrilled to see an assassin who looks like me for a change. Why didn't I know about this game, despite having played so many other AC games? Because none of the gameboys in the clubs, pages and blogs talk about it. Ever! Nary a whisper. Hmm...interesting. If it's not about them it's invisible. It doesn't exist. I don't care that I can't pick up bodies. I have 10 poison darts, not 5! Woo Hoo!
