As a fan of the thriller genre, I was absolutely sucked into the world developed by Alex. The psychological aspect of the world , showing how trauma works, how humans behave under circumstances had me on the edge to know each character in depth. When you know who the killer is, you would be eager to know the story through his or her perspective in the case, Alicia. this was definitely a page turner and the fact that I completed it in 2 days states it . I love the complexity of the characters, the world building and in particularly the twist the plot twist that came. I wouldn’t say I have not expected that but it came out of nowhere as the writing and editing of the book was absolutely on point. The mute characterisation of the protagonist, and the eagerness to uncover the truth, keeping me on the edge as I turn each page wanting to know the story behind it justify my reasoning of giving five star to the book. All in all, I would recommend this book to anyone who is looking out for a thriller book that would make you invested in the world of a psychological murder mystery.

Started off as a casual read and ended as my favourite book. Such a twisted story with an apt gripping narration. Well written characters and my god did the time fly in reading through the pages. A must read duology.
