"Big" is a unique drama with a fascinating premise, but it left me with mixed feelings, especially about Seo Yoon-jae's character. While the story focuses heavily on the relationship between Gil Da-ran and Kang Kyung-joon, I couldn’t stop wondering about Yoon-jae’s perspective.
I believe his distant behaviour might have been due to his devotion to finding his long-lost brother, Kyung-joon. This theory gives his character a more compassionate angle—he wasn’t emotionally unavailable out of indifference but because he was burdened by this emotional discovery.
It’s a shame the drama didn’t explore this idea further, as it would have added more depth and clarity to the story. Despite the unanswered questions, the mix of humour and heartfelt moments made it worth watching, even if the ending felt incomplete
