Jonathan Badness

Great costumes, casting, landscapes and general design but its so slow. Every episode seems so padded with overly sentimental moments backed with sickly sweet strings the story just plods along. 7 episodes in and in terms of the main story not much has really happened at all. We already got that Elrond and Durin are really good friends in episode one but every single episode has some heartwarming scene where they mumur sweet nothings to each other. Also the decision to cast Gladrial as a tory is a pretty odd one. I know this isnt made by Disney but it feels very much like it is
