The plot is not that deep, but the interaction between Detective Beeks and Maddie, who answers tips for the Detroit Free Press, is hilarious. Mysteries deserve the kind of humor written into this story. The writers deserve credit. Very entertaining, and the two lead actors pull of these roles very well. I hope hallmark produces more of these.
