Jessica Amento

There are some decent, thought-provoking passages throughout this book, and I like the author’s writing style. However, this may be my least favorite novel, ever. It’s painfully slow… I got so bored I stopped and read two other books before finishing it. The end picks up, but only because the plot culminates in something that feels very contrived and gratuitous. I do not understand what all the fuss is about.
