I had to fight myself to give this a 2. If it didn't have a good cast, this could of been one of the worst movies on netflix. First off, It LOVES bringing up race, mostly in a negative light (and almost exclusively towards white people), even with the high reputation actors- they were given next to nothing to work with with any sort of quality. There was next to no chemistry between the main characters, the other characters were so so so cringe to say the least. A majority of the black characters, main focus being the parents, are very annoying and very racist the second you meet them and get presented as the morally just couple whilst the white characters just accept they're bad when presented with any scrutiny. I could keep going for way longer but honestly it doesn't deserve anymore energy from me or anyone for that matter. If you love having obvious, obnoxious messaging being shoved down your throat for 2 hours straight, whilst bashing white people then go right ahead, you'll enjoy this.
