Don't listen to complaints. This is a great experience. A vast and expansive catalogue of pokemon available right out the front gate, I don't even know who to put on my team because there are so many options. New features are a nice way to change up the usual pokemon level grind, which was getting old. Sun and Moon were extremely limiting games, with little-to-no actual content, tiny environments, stupid easy battles, and barely any pokemon I would ever want to use. Sword and Shield are very surprising and extremely welcome
