This is a great TV show. It is a true story; however, it is one of the few shows that portrays a black man as intelligent, strong, and capable of overcoming the adversities and challenges of life. Many TV shows today paint a very different picture of black men, portraying them as mindless and/or unintelligent. This is very different and has a powerful storyline. I definitely recommend it.
