Suspenseful and thrilling this movie is sure to keep you on the edge of your seat the whole time. It does a great job of creating a surreal sensation that really brings together the experience of the film. We as the audience know as much as the characters do as they navigate unfolding events. An intriguing journey into the dynamics of human relationships, who we choose to trust both when and why, and how we seek comfort and understanding when immersed in uncertainty. This movie is well worth checking out.

The acting really carries the movie, and on the whole it is certainly worth a watch. I think the film makes an honest effort to capture and portray Cheney as a man beyond the overet liberal red meat baiting that was certainly present throughout the movie. The fact that it managed to hold off on its most egregious political narrations until the end certainly made it possible to sit through and enjoy. My biggest issue with the clearly one sided messaging is that I think it will cause many people to totally disregard and reject what is otherwise an engaging and worthwhile biopic of a powerful man who has undeniably been instrumental in shaping American politics. The total evisceration of George Bush’s character/time in office was what really undermined what should have otherwise been a truly poignant critique/reflection of an incredibly turbulent time in American politics. But the ultimate point of the movie is to paint Cheney as the puppet master boogieman, and the sacrifice in nuance serves to underscore that message and drive it home.
