Some good practical effects (along with some of the worst CGI i've seen in a big-budget movie), but there's so much being juggled in the story that absolutely none of it has any impact. I'd recommend watching any other piece of Beetlejuice media (be it the first movie, the cartoon, or the musical) over this.
