As others have said this is a movie to concentrate on and enjoy. Watched it again on blue Ray and it passed a wet afternoon on. There is a lot going on but not too much so that you get lost halfway through. It's a long movie so settle down and enjoy

Although the highly improbable often happens in real life,the movie has total disrespect to the truth and Das Boot.
From memory no black men were on US subs with white men.
I wouldn't bother with it.
