This needs zero stars. I was praying for it to end because it was so stretched and boring. I felt zero emotion for the characters but it tried so hard to be emotional. I hated everything about it. The story, such that it had, could have been told much more succinctly and more effectively. It tried really hard to be 2001 but it didn't come close. To top it off the continual same music theme during the whole film, even quiet parts, was infuriating.

Overall a good film with a very odd ending. Basically the ending negated the whole point of the film. That is that all the dreams of going to university were pointless as all you need apparently to do is work up from the mail room. They go from disgraced university drop outs to successful careers of their choice in the last 30 seconds of the movie. I'm not sure how many successful career paths start in the mail room. Can you really get to a skilled professional role by doing well in a company restaurant? Ultimately he was not scary as proved in the film so is not clear how he got the role of scarer that he so converted. So I was left unfulfilled at the end. It feels like the writers painted themselves into a corner and didn't know how to satisfactorily end the movie.
