With concentrated characters, this heavily stylized show doesn't waste your time. The plot is sharp, witty, odd, and over the top. No diluted stories or wispy characters that drag out episode after episode. It slams the whole dessert tray on your table, lights a thousand fireworks on top and hands you a fork. I adore indulgent shows, something we are lacking more of as budgets and plots become over inflated. The full cast sparkle together in what really can only be called a glamorous trip into another world. So grab a snack, get cozy on your couch and jump in.

This movie was just fun. Don't listen to the negative reviews. Even if you're not a fan of or ever heard of Borderlands, it's good. It reminds me of a old school 80's action / comedy movie with a fresh coat of paint.

This show is exactly what it set out to be. A bubbly escapist murder mystery that doesn't require much thought. It layers it's characters and plot as the episodes progress. Allowing the viewer to relax and retreat from the real world. Will you remember the plot in 6 months? No. But this show is all about instant gratification. And theres nothing wrong with that.

They took some of the unique mechanics from previous games and removed them. Not only does this make the game play better, it gives you the option to really explore and enjoy your experience. Willamette Mall is extensively detailed. As is the surrounding burrows. You really get a feel to each area. And can freely explore previous areas to complete quests and collectables without time constraints. The environments are open to all play styles. Sneak above, power through, heavy weapon, or grab a vehicle and hit the gas. The map is also clear and easy to navigate. And returning to a previous area doesn't mean the same experience. New side quests open up, enemies change. Previously overflowing enemy areas can be eerily quiet. And revisiting an area at night compared to day time really offers a new feel. So much detail was put into the collectables, mysteries, newspapers, cells phones, and podcasts. You will want to collect them all. Survivors no longer need their hand held. And can make it to a safe house solo. So saving them and upgrading safe houses is a pleasant experience. The Maniacs are challenging and unique to the area they are in. And there is so many nooks and crannies to discover around the map. The leveling system has been expanded and there are some interesting options based on your play style. Customize up to level 100. The story and characters are both fresh and interesting. And revisiting chapters with new knowledge and understanding, really offers you an edge. A truely enjoyable experience. Worth the price and your time.

(I played the game solo only) The option to tackle missions in different ways is refreshing. Accessing speciality loot can be easy or difficult, depending on your patience to explore. The aesthetic of the game is good and I appreciate the distinct differences and feel to all the areas. The game gives off a Twin Peaks vibe mixed with a classic seaside town. I found discovering all the visual stories really balanced to the notes, and enemies in the areas. So no location felt hollow and wasted. Gun play was solid, and hunting down the best weapons to get an edge was enjoyable. Background sound effects really lifted up all areas. And you really get a different experience depending on the character you play. A game worth playing as a solo experience.
