I agree with many of the posts which rate Season 1 poorly. What an ugly location. It appeared to be a flooded river valley littered with a million dead trees poking out of the water. Not one mention of this was made by the contestants. They were not allowed to use a bow and arrow, and most mammals were on the protected list. I didn't appreciate all the sob stories. It's a survival series. All I want to see are likeable people being clever, catching food, building shelters and so on. I don't want to hear how much they miss their family. If they can't handle being away from home they shouldn't apply. For Season 2 I want qualified contestants who don't tap out within two days. Let them use bows and traps. Place them somewhere which has plentiful food. It's not a starving competition.
