This film tramples over the brilliance that was The Lion King original, with one exception, the cinematography. But frankly that deserves a point deduction too, because, despite all the immense technology improvements of today's world, the film makers failed to get anywhere near the exciting drama of the original. In fact key scenes have been changed, voice overs are corny and flat, even the storyline adapted. If only they had stayed true to the original, they WOULD have made a masterpiece. What a wasted opportunity!!
