Shockingly bad documentary which gives journalism a bad name. Throughout the documentary, Nick Denton and the Gawker employees take 0 accountability for their role in completely violating Terry’s privacy - which everyone should be entitled to regardless of their celebrity status. What they did is a form of sexual exploitation and Nick Denton reminds me a lot of the ‘king of revenge porn’, Hunter Moore. Instead of critically analysing the despicable behaviour of Gawker and Nick, the show continues to give them a platform under the veil of protecting the free press. Then the doc dives into some conspiratorial moaning about billionaires and institutions owning the media. This serves as nothing more then a scapegoat for Gawker Media and the journalists who created this show, to save them from exercising any introspection or accountability as journalists. Completely biased hogwash
