It was good, with great writing and imagery, but the pacing was horrible. Too many long tangents that go on for 40-50 pages that have very little relevance to the story. I do enjoy how the story is told through memories, but I just could not stand reading around 50 or more pages to find out that the passage had either nothing or very little to do with the unfolding events. It is a good book and I do recommend the read, there’s just a lot that could have been cut and would not have affected it in anyway.
