I found it disappointing… the first Inside Out already showed the problem of 1 emotion (Joy) trying to hijack everything & how important all emotions are. So why did Inside Out 2 follow the exact same storyline??? Really wish the other new characters were more fleshed out e.g. Envy is so crucial during puberty but she barely had any airtime. I was looking forward to Inside Out 2 showing the old emotions grappling with the new emotions & it finally being a group-centric story, but there was none. In the end it’s just 1 emotion (Joy again) vs another emotion (Anxiety, who is just another bossy, my-way-only version of Joy)… Honestly a disappointment :’)
