Horrible. Thought this was about the kid making movies... No it's about his sad parents and their disfuntional marriage and how his mother selfishly put her son in the middle of it all. If you want to watch a move with the moral Outlook of "marriage means nothing" and "destroying your family to be with your husband's best friend is heroic if you are 'following your heart'", then this is perfect for you. The climax of the kid meeting his idol at the end was the let down of the century.
