This movie is not good. Blumhouse really dropped the ball here . It's really kind of terrible & is yet another pointless remake. It's not a better movie than the already mediocre original version from 1984. The writing in this adaptation is really bad . They went low budget here ( surprise, surprise but what'd you expect, its Blumhouse) & that is not the direction to take with this material. You upscale it & try to do justice to Stephen King's original source material which is defenitely big , almost grand, in scale. Don't waste your time.

This movie is far from brilliant nor does it have the makings of a 'good' bad movie. You know , a movie that is so weird or so catastrophically bad it's unintentionally hilarious . Nah . This movie isn't worth whatever time you invest in it & whatever amount of time that happens to be will have been utterly wasted. This movie isn't even remarkable enough to explain to you why you shouldn't watch this . Alicia Silverstone fans be aware . This is not the movie you had hoped to catch up to her in. If you want to take a trip down nostalgia Ln. with Alicia do it by rewatching Clueless or , literally, anything else she's ever been in. Just don't do it with this thing. It's not worth it . It has nothing to offer.
