Painfully boring and grossly overrated. Beautiful to look at sometimes, and lots of very pretty and detailed panoramas; but ultimately hollow and slow-moving to a braindead degree. Incredibly self-indulgent and overused slow pans. I can't understand the critical response to this film as more than a praise of some of it's visual elements. Storytelling? Almost completely nonexistent in this film. Labored and dull. I found myself frustrated most of the film, begging for something, ANYTHING to happen.
