The background was too dark. The French sub- titles were too many, too long, too fast. I still don't know what will happen to the child or who everyone really was. Too many wisecracks, although that IS what we love about Sam Spade!!
Was the British lady a man in drag? Is Teresa really Spades daughter? Thank God it was only 6 episodes!
