This movie is horrible! It is a sad rehash of many of the components that made the original a success. Replacing Azamat’s side kick character with the girl who has no comedic chops was a terrible terrible idea! The funniest part was in the beginning where Baron-Cohen’s character is tied to the top of a High-Striker (test of strength) and a giant with mallet strikes it hard sending the puck flying fast into Borat’s balls while he wears a mankini, as punishment for humiliating Kazakhstan. The opening sequence is hilarious and promises so much that it does not unfortunately deliver. I love Sascha and hate to have to be critical of this work. I hope he comes back soon with more of the knock you to the floor comedic stunts we have come to expect of him.
