Jasper Stocks

So supremely boring that I am sure I will live to the total age of 30 now. The film wants to think it is some interesting introspective into the colonies in ww2, but fails to show anything but the struggles to show anything besides young Christian bale screaming in a terrible British accent. Bale, however, is probably one of the best parts of the film, as a lot of the acting is stellar by almost all the actors. I just think that they are struggling with a confused script and terminaly struggling character writing. None of the characters seem remotely believable and often I feel bales character acts more like a 5 year old who acts very posh. Overall, this film made me fell like I was supposed to relate with a kid who is so obsessed with war and planes that he is less interested in his parents than the japanese air pilots.
