More disturbing than scary but the reason this movie is great is because it uses those disturbing aspects of the film and makes them scary, not to mention the disturbing parts aren't just for shock value, they define the story and the story that unravels is shockingly good which makes this more than just shock value: amazing effects, great direction, great story. this is may not scare you but it will definitely make you uncomfortable yet feel for the characters at the same time, when you fully understand the story by the end it leaves you very very satisfied. I do not regret watching this. Each minute that passes advances the story in an important way which most horror movies fail to do, and for a movie labeled as "disturbing" I was absolutely not expecting this much quality out of its story. I was more shocked by how good the movies was rather than the gore.
