I watched episode 1 after my brother informed me of the new TV series. We are both in our 50s and remember the original series. I did not have any expectations. Oh my, the writing is absolutely bad. I watched the entire episode to give the show a chance. I kept repeating out loud to myself, this is so bad. The performances from everyone in episode 1 is mediocre; acting that looked, sounded and felt like acting. The sound mixing is also not done well. Each time a scene features music, the music is too loud which caused me to continually adjust the volume. Once I lowered the volume I then could not hear the dialogue well after the music ceased so I would then need to increase the volume. Bad writing, bad acting, poor sound mixing, and oh so boring. Oh, my!

I found some of the writing to be predictable but I appreciated the wrap up overall. What a broken cast of characters.

4.5-Stars for the performances. As stated by another reviewer, this did not need to be a 4-hour mini-series. While watching episode 3 I checked the remaining time because it felt like an hour and a half had passed. I said out loud, this is a long 58 minutes. Within 21 minutes of the final episode, it became obvious who the killer was. I watched the 4 episodes over a two-week period. After watching the first 2 episodes, I had forgotten about the series until I saw it in my HBOmax list tonight.

Better than the 2017 release. Could have cut 30 minutes or so but it never got to the point where I felt I wanted to pause and finish watching another day. I originally planned to watch 2 hours tonight then complete the film tomorrow but it was intriguing enough that I watched the entire film in one sitting.

I very much enjoyed 2017's Wonder Woman with the exception of the final fight sequence, but Wonder Woman 1984 was just okay for me. I did love the surprise during the end credits.

I so wanted to love this show. The writing is simply not funny. I kept waiting for the humor that only showed up maybe 10%. After not enjoying episode 1 I continued on to the 2nd episode hoping it would be laugh out loud funny. It wasn't even chuckle funny. I moved on to episode 3 because I wanted to see the 227 reboot, it was cute! The Jackee/Sandra impersonation was spot on though. During my viewing of the first three episodes I laughed 1 to 2 times during each. Writers, you have to come better than what's been written thus far. Or maybe just different writers altogether. Such a waste of acting talent at this point.

I enjoyed this biopic. I wasn't sure if I would be able to watch it straight through but the film never lost my attention. I appreciate that Mr. Williams is not portrayed as a flawless person who made no missteps when guiding his daughters towards greatness.

3.2 Stars (No spoilers) "Spider-Man: No Way Home" was a disappointment for me. A lot of the "jokes" were simply not humorous and sometimes ill-timed. This film is about 40 minutes longer than it needs to be. The three-way dialogue between the three Spider-Men as they waited was especially a waste of time and digital memory. I truly appreciate the talent that is Jamie Foxx, but in this film his talent did not shine. Jamie normally encompasses a role so well that you forget you are watching Jamie Foxx. In his role as "Electro" it just felt like Jamie Foxx being Jamie Foxx with special effects. It is also highly unbelievable that after witnessing all that took place in "Avengers: Infinity War" and "Avengers: Endgame" that even as a teen, "Spider-Man" would be so immature and selfish and put his desire to not be forgotten by his loved ones above saving the world. Not believable at all! That all being said, "Spider-Man: No Way Home" is still a better film than "The Matrix: Resurrections." It is a cute film and I understand why children and teens enjoy it. I only paid $4.79 to see the film. It was worth that amount.

This 2017 version was very entertaining until it wasn't. I really enjoyed this film up to the point of the discovery of the murdered passenger, which is approximately 30 minutes into the film. The script and performances go down hill from that point forward, beginning with the train's director pleading with Poirot to investigate and solve the crime. I watched all the way to the end not wanting to give up on the film but for me, it was gut churning bad. At moments Kenneth Branagh's overdone accent literally caused my stomach to squirm as did his sometimes overacting. I wanted to enjoy this star-studded film but sadly I did not.
