If you like the Original Trilogy and Andor, you might not like this very much but if you're a fan of the Prequel Trilogy and Mandalorian series then you might like it. It has a very interesting plot with the Jedi and Mae but it sometimes suffers from wooden and conventional writing that plagued the prequel and sequel trilogies. Its practical sets as well as the CGI are great and feels like the Original trilogy. The fight sequences mirror Hong Kong action movies (Jet Li, Jackie Chan, etc) or the Matrix, but it lacks impact of the hit. For example, when people get hit you can see them get hit but the audience won't feel the hit. I love the practical prosthetics especially on the Neimoidians and adds a extra layer of immersion. Overall, an enjoyable and promising first 2 episodes but cautiously optimistic.
P.S I don't get why people are review bombing this series and I think it deserves a fair review. It may deserve a 3/5 but not a 1/5. Y'all just hatin'
