Most anyone that has read the books would agree that the flow of this adaptation is extremely disjointed at best. The character’s’ personalities and even demeanors have been changed to such a degree that they are unsuited for much of the future story. This is not Robert Jordan’s Wheel of Time. This is a modern day, “woke” in many ways, poorly constructed misty shadow reflection portal stone world from the book series. For those people that say it is too difficult to translate Jordan’s vision of this story because of his descriptive writing style, I say absolutely not. The characters he created for the most part were honorable simple folk that had class and a sense of duty to each other and their families. This version is completely over complicating the characters. Simple example is, Nynaeve goes for her dagger as Lan walks into the Winespring Inn, she is the wisdom of the village not some warrior princess. Too many things to list. This series is not watchable for me. As many who have read the books have also expressed the sentiment. Very disappointing.
