Quite enjoyed the suspense but hard to believe some of the actions, I.e not calling the Police once the fighting started

Authentic in parts, for example the kids with bull dogs roaming the streets. The racism of the few, blokes complaining about their lot but managing to find money for booze. However the over use of the F word is not authentic, in mining/ex mining villages, this is not the way that that generation would speak. My dad was a miner and he said bad language used in the pit was a no no uptop and I can assure you that still applies in the villages in County Durham.
