The Iron Giant is a film I watched everyday when I was three years old to five years old on my old VHS tape. Since then, I watch it every year as a special treat. This year I watched it on my 18th birthday and I am astounded that it was still able to make me shed tears. Although it's intended for younger audiences, it truly amazes me how this film can captivate anyone regardless of their age. The engaging voice acting and the stellar animation make it a must-see film. The character dynamics between the goofy Hogarth Hughes and the gentle Iron Giant is one in a million. It's an underrated classic that achieves so much in the span of 2 hours. The film delivers heart, soul, and the wise message of self acceptance.
