After a string of really convenient bad luck happening to the protagonist, I started to believe that god was having a really bad day and just decided to have a laugh at his expense to see how much he could take before breaking. Movie becomes much better when you watch it from that perspective. The scene where, despairing, he finds a manhole and uses the last ounce of his strength to break through the other side only to find that it was... another pool was freaking hilarious

Trashy jump scare movie with nothing else in between. But because it’s carrying the brand Insidious, people are going to watch it anyway.
