Angel 101

We start off with Paige learning of the calamity that befell her twon and the world. We follow her as she tries to survive in an post-apocalyptic town where her only company is the crows and dead bodies of those she once knew. It was all a great set up...up until the author took the direction of aliens being the cause of humanity's extinction. Yup. It was a 5 star book until aliens got involved. While Paige and her team manage to delay the invasion somewhat, there is far less people and way more technologically advanced aliens that can wipe out what's left of humanity in a heart beat, leaving a hopeless outlook looming over the reader's head long after the story ends.
