I admire this one. I'm someone who's into horror movies that exhibit new concepts, which I know isn't easy, of course. There was only one part of the movie that I wish they didn't do and I'm still questioning one part of it that didn't make sense to me, but I really did enjoy this and I highly recommend watching this movie if you're someone who's into psychopaths or revenge

When I was young and saw this remake, I sorta admired it. But now as I ruminate on it, it's just horrendous. Some of the acting is bad, the jumpscares are bland, some of the CGI doesn't really match the horror theme and seems more science fictiony (if that's the best way to put it) and is also preposterous. How? Before writing this review, I've learned that they've photoshopped the house. Like the octagon window wasn't originally there, same with the tiny rectangular window next to Maddy's bay window. I could be wrong about that being photoshopped, but if they did then that's just shrugging
