My son asked me to read 11/22/63 because the story discussed the period of time when my future wife and I first met. The book does that and does it very well. The book to me was really three stories tied into in one story, 11/22/63, science fiction, and a love story. I am 88 years old and understand the love intensity and how it would carry throughout the years. Perhaps this aspect maintained my interest reading 849 pages. What I dislike about 11/22/63 is King only discussed that aspect (what facts are true?), he didn’t discuss in my opinion the sources of the 1950s that are so vivid to me. Also whoever's advised in the writing of the romantic events are to be congratulated. Why, because that is the way I felt about my wife in 1954 and for the next 63 years. I’ll thank my son for bringing some memories and tears to my eyes.
