A touching depiction of what a man endured after a brutal and senseless attack and how he used his creativety to slowly move on. Not sure how a true story could receive such poor reviews without changing the plot. Although slow moving at times, I think omitting scenes would leave the viewer lost. Brilliant directing, acting and cinematography. Sometimes a movie is not made to entertain but to enlighten.
