It's a wildly gripping movie as Kim's All movies are ! In this movie he laminated human nature & Characters terrifically rather ruthlessly with sex & violence ! And he shown our true nature exposed wildly when we become drunk or reached into an adversed conditions ! Along with he conveyed our hunger and beastful nature obey no rules & no relations !

The film is to me the Best Masterpiece of the Maestro Satyajit Ray ! Where he Explored the hidden Emotional treasure of a Matinee Idol ! And in My Realization, some moments are there as a reflection of Ray's own thoughts, struggle & life !
