Why did people make such a fuss over this movie???? Whats so wrong in the portrayal of Rajputs in the film??? Most of all a question to the director- why the hell is deepika's eyes brimming with tears for majority of the movie?? For no good reason that i could think of.... Okay lets start with the cast Shahid kapoor - not a good choice for the part... His eyes did not convey the feelings of the character. Deepika - I feel that she has more beauty in her than what was portrayed in this film... But Aishwarya Rai as Jodha was the equal for MESMERIZING BEAUTY... Deeps ws just not worth waging a war for. Seriously!!! Ranveer - Did a great job. He fit the part like a glove and did complete justice to the character. The movie as a whole did not have anything to make you go WOW... Not the romance between Ratansen and Padmavati... Not the sets... Not the wars... Nothing.... When placed on a scale with epic films like Bahubali and Jodha Akhbar this movie would be below ground level. Had the protestors kept silent about the film m sure it would have come and gone like a lightening... They publicized the film!!! Having said all this, the costumes were a treat for the eyes ans also the Sati part in the climax was done well Great cinematography.
